CONFLICT RESOLUTION MEDIATION
& TRAINING SERVICES
Mediation is a process by which people in conflict seek mutually
acceptable solutions through the help of a trained mediator.
Mediation is an informal way for people to come together and work
toward a solution to their problem. All solutions are made by the parties involved -- NOT
THE MEDIATOR.

It is private and confidential
Mediators shall keep confidential any information pertaining to the case.
It is faster and less expensive than litigation
The average mediation usually lasts two - three hours, however, the
length of time and number of sessions may vary due to the complexity
of the conflict.
The parties, rather than a judge or jury,
control the outcome
Sessions are held in a private, friendly, and relaxed atmosphere.
It is less stressful
Mediation is confidential, thus avoiding public disclosure of
problems.
